| KTM’s E3 “Knight Rider” on top on Saturday; third on Sunday in Poland |
| KTM-supported factory rider David Knight, the newly crowned British Enduro Championship was on form at the E3 GP in Poland this weekend conquering the grass and sand and more than 1:20.00 of tests in two days of racing that rewarded him with a first and a third place. |

But David did not have it all his own way with KTM Enduro Factory Racing’s Simone Albergoni in excellent form on both days for two second places. On Saturday Knight was just 20 second ahead of Albergoni in the final reckoning, an occasion for an all Orange podium with KTM Germany’s Marcus Kehr completing the podium. Marcus completed a great weekend of racing with a fifth place on Sunday.
The two days of racing in Poland presented its share of challenges and included a ten minutes long cross test with its share of jumps and was different in character to next weekend’s terrain in Slovakia where they will be faced with grass and mud instead of the sand and grass of this weekend.
Knight and Albergoni lead the standings with French rider Christophe Nambotin back in third after a DNF on Saturday.
“All in all I am very satisfied with the overall performance of all the KTM riders this weekend,” said KTM team boss Fabio Farioli. “We picked up our share of podiums and there were some very close finishes.”
